“My name is Lauren Esham and I am Co-President of Dance Company for 2014-2015. I am from Ocean City, MD and this is my second year at UNCW. I am majoring in Business with a concentration in Management. I danced competitively for 9 years in high school at Seaside Dance Academy in Berlin, MD. Dance is a huge part of my life, without dance I would not be half the person that I am today. I am so glad that I found Dance Company and I am looking forward to an exciting year!”

Nicole Fallon, Company Liaison

“My name is Nicole Fallon and I am a senior.  I am a Psychology major and Spanish minor. I have been a member of Force the past three years. This will be my 4th year as a member of UNCW Dance Company and my second year as the Company Liaison for UNCW Dance Company.  As Company Liaison I am responsible for leading all of Energy’s practices and choreographing a dance for them for the showcase, I take care of all of the social media, I judge auditions alongside both Co-Presidents, and I help make all three groups of Dance Company become one unified organization. I have danced since I was 9 years old.  Before coming to college, I danced competitively and hoped to continue my passion in college, and to have found myself a member and officer of UNCW Dance Company is a total blessing.  Dance Company has become my family here at UNCW and for that I will always be grateful. “

Alison Dalziel, Treasurer

“Hey everyone! I’m Alison Dalziel (on the left in the picture) and I’m Treasurer for UNCW Dance Company! I’m a junior here at UNCW and am an accounting major in the Cameron School of Business! I also work at the bookstore on campus, so you may see me there from time to time struggling with the textbooks haha! I’m originally from Massachusetts, but moved here to NC when I was 11. I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old and started competing when I was 12. I’ve danced at 6 different studios with moving around a lot and it’s given me great experience with different teachers/choreographers. The past 2 years with Dance Company have been more than I could have ever hoped for. I’ve made some of my best friendships within Dance Co. and it’s always sad to see the seniors graduate each year. I have such high hopes for this year and I really hope I get to know each and every one of you! I would absolutely love to hangout with you all, or even grab a coffee and bagel from Einstein’s between classes whenever! Let’s make this year of Dance Co the best year yet! <3”

“My name is Katie Kerupetski, this is my Junior year at UNCW and my third year on Dance Company! I’m a Psychology and Criminology double major. Along with Dance Company, I am also PsiChi’s Treasure. This year I am the company’s Artistic Director! I will be creating apparel for the company, taking photos of events, running this webpage, and working with the production team! I’m extremely excited for this year 🙂 I have been dancing since I was three years old and competitively since I was eight. Dance has always meant the world to me and I’m glad that I have found an organization here that shares the same passion. As cliche as it sounds, this group of talented ladies have become my family here at UNCW.”

Sarah Cash, Fundraising Coordinator

“My name is Sarah, and this is my 2nd year serving as the fundraising coordinator for dance co! I’m a senior majoring in elementary education, and I have been on dance company since I was a freshman. I have met some of my best friends through this group, and I can’t imagine my college life without it! I started dancing in 3rd grade, and danced through high school. In high school, I danced competitively as well as on my high school dance team where I was the dance captain my senior year. I even got the opportunity to travel to Rome during my senior year to dance, and it was one of the best experiences of my life! I’m so glad to be a part of dance company, and can’t wait to make my senior year the best one yet :)”

Kaela Bishop, Production Manager

“I was born and raised in small town, Laurinburg, NC and started college at Appalachian State, but transferred here last year. I’m a senior Communication Studies major but I’m not sure what I want to do with that yet.  Besides Dance Company, I’m also involved with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). Dancing is my passion and my absolute favorite thing to do. Including this year, I have been dancing 17 years! 12 of those years were in competition dance including clogging, musical theater, jazz, and contemporary/lyrical. This is only my second year in Dance Co but it’s also my last so I’m looking forward to helping make this season the best yet!”
